Reporting Portal – Terms of Use

Introduction:

By accessing or using the Reporting Portal (“the Application”), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read these terms carefully before using the Application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Reporting Portal, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these terms, you are not authorized to access or use the Application.

2. Application Purpose

The Reporting Portal is designed to provide a centralized, structured interface for browsing and accessing reports stored in SharePoint using a Department, Category, Subcategory, and Report hierarchy.

The Application is intended for internal organizational use only.

3. Data Access and Permissions

The Reporting Portal operates entirely within your Microsoft 365 SharePoint tenant and does not access external data sources.

Users are responsible for ensuring:

  • Appropriate SharePoint permissions are granted to access the Application
  • Sensitive or confidential documents are managed in accordance with organizational policies
  • Compliance with internal governance, security, and data privacy requirements

4. User Responsibilities

Users must:

  • Use the Application only for its intended purpose
  • Not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to alter the Application’s functionality
  • Ensure report links and metadata are accurate and up to date
  • Protect confidential or restricted information in accordance with internal compliance policies.

5. Limitations of Liability

The Reporting Portal is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Reality-Tech Inc shall not be liable for:

  • Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access resulting from improper configuration or usage
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Application
  • Issues caused by SharePoint platform changes or third-party dependencies

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Reporting Portal, including but not limited to software, design, branding, and functionality, remain the exclusive property of Reality-Tech Inc.

Users may not:

  • Copy, distribute, sublicense, or sell the Application
  • Modify, decompile, or reuse any part of the Application without prior written consent from Reality-Tech Inc

7. Updates and Modifications

Reality-Tech Inc reserves the right to:

  • Update or modify the Application at any time without prior notice
  • Amend these Terms of Use as needed

Any changes will be communicated through the Application, App Catalog, or official documentation. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Termination

Reality-Tech Inc reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Application if:

  • These Terms of Use are violated
  • The Application is misused or abused
  • Continued use poses security, compliance, or operational risks

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America.

All disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New York, New York.
