At Reality-Tech Inc, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting the data accessed and used by the Reporting Portal (“the Application”). This Privacy Statement explains how data is accessed, used, and protected when using the Reporting Portal within your Microsoft 365 environment.

Data Collection and Usage

The Reporting Portal accesses only the data required to perform its core functionality of organizing and displaying reports stored in SharePoint.

Specifically, the application accesses:

  • SharePoint Lists
    • Department
    • Category
    • SubCategory
    • Reports
      These lists are used to structure and display report information.
  • Document Links
    • The application reads document names and URLs stored in SharePoint lists to allow users to open reports.
  • Images
    • Icons or images stored in SharePoint image libraries for visual presentation.

The Reporting Portal does not collect, store, or transmit personal, sensitive, or user-identifiable information beyond what already exists in your SharePoint environment.

Purpose of Data Use

Data accessed by the Reporting Portal is used solely for:

  • Displaying departments, categories, and subcategories
  • Rendering report document names and links
  • Enabling structured navigation across reports

The application does not use data for analytics, tracking, advertising, profiling, or external sharing.

Data Protection

To ensure data security and privacy:

  • The application operates entirely within your Microsoft 365 SharePoint tenant
  • All communication is secured using HTTPS encryption
  • No data is transmitted to external servers or third-party services
  • All data remains stored within SharePoint lists and libraries controlled by your organization

Third-Party Sharing

The Reporting Portal:

  • Does not share, sell, or disclose data to third parties
  • Does not integrate with external systems or services
  • Performs all operations strictly within your Microsoft 365 tenant

User Responsibility

To maintain privacy and compliance:

  • Administrators should ensure appropriate SharePoint permissions are applied
  • Access to the Reporting Portal should be granted only to authorized users
  • Users should ensure that linked documents comply with organizational data governance policies
  • Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Statement before using the application
